The standard torque link allows too much engine movement under performance driving conditions When fitted with uprated rubber bushes they are designed to reduce the movement at the link from +/-10mm to +/-2mm. This will result in some increase in noise and vibration in the cabin. But the stress will be reduced on such items as exhaust system, intake system, drive shaft joints and gearchange and the car will have a much ‘tighter’ feel. A must if you have a “Tuned” diesel, as the extra torque can literally rip the standard item apart. My own car ate 3 standard lower mounts in just over 6 months with 300 ft lbs torque!
Before ordering please check you have the original ford mount as pictured with the green tick. You will recieve 2 bushes identified in the picture as no.4 and no.5
